Galvanized steel pipe welding film flaw detection is a commonly used nondestructive testing method, which is mainly used to detect the defective condition of welded joints to ensure the quality of welding. Specific requirements are as follows:
1. The choice of flaw detector should be based on the type of weld and the characteristics of the material, such as ultrasonic flaw detector, magnetic particle flaw detector and so on.
2. Surface treatment should be carried out before flaw detection to clean the surface of the weld and remove impurities.
3. The preparation of welding film should be in accordance with the relevant standards, and the surface of the film should be smooth and even.
4. Flaw detection should be carried out in a dry, windless, noiseless and vibration-free environment.
5. Flaw detection operators should be familiar with the use of flaw detection instruments, skilled, able to accurately determine the significance of the flaw detection signal.
6. The results of the flaw detection shall be recorded in the flaw detection report, including the location of the weld, the type of defect, the location of the defect, the size of the defect and other information. 7. According to the results of the flaw detection, the defects of the welded joints shall be categorized and evaluated, the severity of the defects and the impact on the quality of the weld shall be determined, and appropriate measures shall be taken to repair or rewelding.
